As excitement builds in the world of figure skating, Japanese sensation Uno Shoma is set to make headlines with the debut of his self-produced ice show, titled “Ice Brave”. The three-time Olympic medallist and former world champion steps back into the spotlight after a year away from competitive skating, showcasing his passion and artistry this weekend.

Scheduled to kick off on Saturday, June 14, in his native Aichi Prefecture, Uno will perform three spectacular shows that are expected to captivate audiences. He will take his show on the road, making stops in Fukuoka next week (June 21-22) and concluding in Niigata in mid-July (July 12-13).

Joining Uno on the ice will be an all-star cast, including his mentor, coach and former Olympic silver medallist, Stephane Lambiel, along with Honda Marin, a top former women’s world junior champion known for her remarkable performances and as Uno’s girlfriend. Another standout performer, Hongo Rika, a multi-Four Continents medallist, will also take to the ice alongside Uno.

While details about “Ice Brave” remain scant, Uno recently revealed that the music selections will consist largely of the varied melodies he skated to during his stellar competitive career. Audiences can expect an eclectic mix spanning classical, rock, jazz, and pop music, intricately woven into the performances.

Moreover, Uno anticipates exploring new creative avenues. “When I was a competitor, it was all about me, but now, I find great joy in working towards one goal with other skaters and the production team,” stated Uno as he described his emotions about this artistic transition.
