U.S. Figure Skaters Shine at Skate Canada International: Levito, Kam, O’Shea Medals; Malinin in Title Contention

The U.S. made a spectacular showing at Skate Canada International on Saturday, November 1, 2025, showcasing the elite talents of figure skating. While earning two medals in the current competition, they are positioned well to potentially add two more on Sunday, creating excitement among fans and athletes alike.

Isabeau Levito took the spotlight with an awe-inspiring free skate. She secured the silver medal with a score of 137.97, culminating in an overall total of 209.77 points. Skating to “Cinema Paradiso” by Ennio Morricone, Levito demonstrated superior skill, achieving Level 4s for both her layback spin and step sequence. With a remarkable program component score of 71.03, her quest for Grand Prix Series glory continues as this marks her sixth medal.

In a remarkable duo effort, the pairs team of Ellie Kam and Danny O’Shea clinched the bronze medal with their free skate score of 133.63.
