Team GB has officially announced its robust squad of 53 athletes for the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, scheduled to kick off on February 6, 2026. The diverse team showcases some exceptional talents alongside promising medal prospects.
Leading the ladies’ curling team will be Jennifer Dodds, who hopes to defend the Olympic title acquired during Beijing 2022. Joining her is world champion Bruce Mouat for the men’s curling team, aiming to elevate his silver medal performance in China.
In freestyle skiing, Zoe Atkin aims for gold in the women’s halfpipe after securing a title at the Winter X Games Aspen, while Matt Weston looks to dominate the men’s skeleton, building on his recent World Cup triumph. Also vying for medals in this competitive arena is world silver medalist Marcus Wyatt.
Event fans can expect to see Mia Brookes in the women’s snowboard slopestyle after her impressive world championship win, while two-time world champion Charlotte Bankes will compete in women’s snowboard cross along with mixed team teammate Huw Nightingale.
