ISU World Team Trophy 2025: Miura/Kihara produce another PB in pairs free to cap stellar season

World champions Miura Riku and Kihara Ryuichi showcased their remarkable talent at the ISU World Team Trophy 2025 on Saturday, April 19, successfully delivering an exhilarating performance in the pairs free skate. They achieved another personal best score of 145.06, solidifying their position as leading contenders in the figure skating world and contributing significantly to Japan’s points tally as they continue their strong showing in Tokyo.

The duo’s performance also highlighted the fierce competition as Italy’s Sara Conti and Niccolo Macii managed to secure second place with a personal best score of 142.26. Their synchronous movements and emotional expression during the routine captivated the audience, proving they’ve come into their own this season.

On the podium, third place was claimed by Georgia’s Anastasiia Metelkina and Luka Berulava, who finished strongly with a score of 139.96. Additionally, Canada’s duo of Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps rounded out the top four with a score of 134.35, adding depth to an already competitive field.
