Stand With Team USA At ‘Leave Your Mark’ Kickoff Event

Team USA’s journey toward the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy officially kicks off this weekend at the highly anticipated “Leave Your Mark” event at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Museum in Colorado Springs, Colorado. On Saturday and Sunday, fans will have the unique opportunity to meet their favorite Olympic hopefuls through a variety of fun and interactive activities.

World champion Alysa Liu will be standing by her pedestal, while U.S. titlist Amber Glenn soars high in the air using a jump harness, showcasing her killer moves. Simultaneously, Madison Chock and Evan Bates, both World champions in ice dance, will mesmerize with their extraordinary demonstrations of artistic grace.

This exciting event, scheduled for June 7–8 from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., promises to be an immersive celebration initiated by U.S. Figure Skating as they launch their campaign “Leave Your Mark.” Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with members of the 2025 U.S. Figure Skating national team and witness first-hand the dedication and artistry that define figure skating.

“I’m so excited to have the Leave Your Mark event here in Colorado Springs,” said 2024 U.S. pairs champion Danny O’Shea. “It’s a special place for live training, and it brings us closer to the fans who fuel our passion for this sport.”

The campaign aims to inspire not just the local community but also figure skating rinks and clubs nationwide, as U.S. Figure Skating provides toolkits to invigorate Olympic spirit. Matt Farrell, CEO of U.S. Figure Skating, emphasized the importance of connecting with the fans: “It’s about sharing the joy of skating and leaving our mark on the next generation.”

Expect to see athletes such as Olympian Bradie Tennell, two-time Olympic ice dance medalists Maia and Alex Shibutani, and many more. Hands-on activities will include an Art Zone, Dance Zone, Speed Zone, Skills Zone, and insights into costume design and athlete impact.

“I’m so thrilled to engage with fans,” Tennell shared. “The Olympics are ultimately about connection and celebration.” The Museum promises an unforgettable experience that truly brings figure skating to life, so mark your calendars for this incredible celebration!”
