Kolesnik expressed sheer joy, stating, “I feel like I won the Olympics right now.” This marked a shining moment as the duo broke the 200-point barrier internationally for the first time.

In women’s singles, Glenn surged from third to first after a commanding free skate, defending her Cup title. With an overall score of 214.78, she delivered an exceptional triple loop-double Axel-double Axel combination—awarding her the highest-scoring element.“I’m really proud of staying focused today; this showed the consistency I have been working on,” Glenn stated.

Liu earned her silver medal with a strong total of 212.07. Touching upon her unprecedented podium achievement, she reflected: “I feel like I’ve unlocked a new area in a video game.” Interestingly, this was also the first time the top two female competitors shared a Grand Prix podium since 2023.

Tomoki Hiwatashi tied his career-best finish, ending fourth overall, while Jacob Sanchez made his Grand Prix debut sweeping up a commendable seventh place. Looking ahead, both teams aspire for trends of success at the upcoming competitors reflecting the growing depth of U.S. figure skating.
