Adult Skaters Impress at U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships in Minnesota
The 2025 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships, presented by Prevagen, took place this past weekend in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, showcasing incredible talent across various adult categories. Eleven coveted U.S. titles were awarded, including multiple defending champions

Reigning champions Kristina Struthwolf-Leato, Michael Solonoski, and the duo of Jennifer Freedman and Oleg Voyko successfully defended their titles, while eight new teams and individuals took home gold medals for the first time.
In the Championship Masters Junior-Senior Women, Struthwolf-Leato of Centennial Park FSC triumphed for the fourth consecutive time with a remarkable score of 75.68 points. Her standout performance featured a Level 4 flying spin, clinching her victory by 18 points. Diane Zhou (SC of San Francisco) took silver (57.67), followed by Rosie Canter (Columbus FSC) in third (55.05).
For the Championship Masters Junior-Senior Men, Michael Solonoski of IceWorks SC made headlines, scoring a historic 94.66, the highest in U.S. Adult Championships history. His impressive routine included a triple loop-double Axel sequence, then Kyle Shropshire secured silver (52.31).
The Championship Adult Gold Women saw Gabbi Guest from FSC of Memphis winning her first U.S. title with a score of 40.16, highlighted by a beautiful Level 3 spin. Sarah Barcik Weissman (Los Angeles FSC) placed fourth with 38.22.
Other exhilarating highlights included Tara Green’s trailblazing victory in the Championship Adult Silver Women, where at age 52, she became the oldest champion in this category. In dance competitions, Freedman and Voyko continued their reign, while Kelsey Cease dazzled audiences in the Championship Adult Solo Dance.
