This eagerly anticipated competition culminates in the crowning of U.S. champions in eight distinct disciplines, ranging from juvenile to masters. Moreover, it will conclude with the naming of the 2026 World Synchronized Skating Team following the senior combined event.
This marks the first time that Utah will host the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships, making it a landmark occasion for both the state and the event itself. “We are excited to bring the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships to Salt Lake City for the first time,” stated Matt Farrell, CEO of U.S. Figure Skating. “This event presents a unique opportunity to spotlight the sport in an Olympic-caliber setting, and we’re hopeful to see synchronized skating return to the city in 2034 during the Winter Olympic Games.”
The complete list of competing teams will be unveiled after the sectional finals in January 2026, promising an intense and competitive atmosphere. Tickets for the championships are slated to go on sale in the fall of 2025, generating buzz and excitement among fans and athletes alike.
